The nature (time variation) of response magnetization m(wt) of the spin-1 Blume-Capel model in the presence of a periodically varying external magnetic field h(wt) is studied by employing the effective-field theory (EFT) with correlations as well as the Glauber-type stochastic dynamics. We determine the time variations of m(wt) and h(wt) for various temperatures, and investigate the dynamic magnetic hysteresis behavior. We also investigate the temperature dependence of the dynamic magnetization, hysteresis loop area and correlation near the transition point in order to characterize the nature (first- or second-order) of the dynamic transitions as well as obtain the dynamic phase transition temperatures. The hysteresis loops are obtained for different reduced temperatures and we find that the areas of the loops are decreasing with the increasing of the reduced temperatures. We also present the dynamic phase diagrams and compare the results of the EFT with the results of the dynamic mean-field approximation. The phase diagrams exhibit many dynamic critical points, such as tricritical (•), zero-temperature critical (Z), triple (TP) and multicritical (A) points. According to values of Hamiltonian parameters, besides the paramagnetic (P), ferromagnetic (F) fundamental phases, one coexistence or mixed phase region, (F+P) and the reentrant behavior exist in the system. Complex network theory is a useful way to study many real systems. In this paper, an anti-attack model based on complex network theory is introduced. The mechanism of this model is based on a dynamic compensation process and a reverse percolation process in P2P networks. The main purpose of the paper is: (i) a dynamic compensation process can turn an attacked P2P network into a power-law (PL) network with exponential cutoff; (ii) a local healing process can restore the maximum degree of peers in an attacked P2P network to a normal level; (iii) a restoring process based on reverse percolation theory connects the fragmentary peers of an attacked P2P network together into a giant connected component. We study a bus schedule in a shuttle bus transportation system controlled by capacity. The motion of shuttle buses depends on the inflow rate of passengers, the number of buses, and the delayed increase of buses. The bus schedule is closely related to the dynamic motion of buses. The delayed increase of buses has an important effect on the arrival of buses. We present the delayed piecewise map model for the dynamics of shuttle buses with the delayed increase. The motion of buses changes from a stable state to an unstable state and vice versa with increasing the inflow rate. The arrival of shuttle buses oscillates with various periods in the unstable state. The dynamic transitions change highly with the delayed increase of buses. We clarify the effect of the delayed increase on the bus schedule. 相似文献

We present developments in dynamic magnetic resonance imaging that allow internal structural muscle markers to be followed during heating. This monitoring is based on quantitative characterization of the experimental conditions and their temperature time course. A nonlinear image registration technique was optimized and applied to consecutively acquired images to measure the deformation fields in the muscle. A model coupling local deformation and temperature was obtained, which for the first time takes into account the variations of deformation and temperature in the sample. This modeling opens the way to a better understanding of the mechanisms responsible for mass loss and degradation of the textural properties of muscle during heating. 相似文献

Purpose
The aim of this study is to investigate whether subserosal enhancement on the delayed-phase dynamic magnetic resonance (MR) study (SED) can differentiate T2 from T1 gallbladder carcinoma (GBC).Methods
The institutional research board approved this retrospective study. Between 1997 and 2006, there were surgically proven 11 T1 and 21 T2 GBC in 30 patients, all of whom had undergone preoperative contrast enhanced dynamic MR study, either with a 2D sequence (n=17) or 3D sequences (n=15). All images were reviewed by two radiologists for the presence of SED, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed. Sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values were calculated by consensus.Results
The areas under the ROC curves of the two readers were 0.91 and 0.86, and the kappa value was 0.78. Of the 21 T2 GBC, 18 and 3 showed positive and negative SED, respectively. Of the 11 T1 GBC, 1 and 10 showed positive and negative SED, respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values of SED for diagnosing T2 lesions were 86%, 88%, 91% and 77%, respectively.Conclusions
In conclusion, SED may be a useful sign to differentiate T2 from T1 GBC, which would affect the preoperative surgical planning of the patients. 相似文献997.
Purpose
The purpose was to study the effect of estrogen deficiency on contrast agent diffusion into intervertebral disc in a rat model.Materials and Methods
Seven-month-old female Sprague–Dawley rats were used. Fourteen rats had ovariectomy, and nine rats had sham surgery. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of sagittal midsection of lumbar spine was performed with a 1.5-T magnet. Dynamic MRI was performed after a bolus injection of Gd-DOTA (0.3 mmol/kg) through tail vein. Eight hundred images were acquired at 0.6 s per acquisition. Regions of interests were drawn over three discs per rat. Maximum enhancement (Emax) and enhancement slope (Eslope) were evaluated. MRI was carried out at baseline and 8 weeks postsurgery.Result
All disc enhancements demonstrated an initial fast wash-in phase followed by a second slower wash-in phase. For initial wash-in phase, E1max and E1slope of all rats remained unchanged at the two time points. For second wash-in phase, E2max and E2slope of control rats remained unchanged, while with ovariectomized rats, E2max showed reduction at 8 weeks (4.5%±5.6%) compared to baseline (10.3%±6.3%, P=.037), and E2slope was lower at 8 weeks (0.015±0.017) than the baseline (0.029±0.022), although it was not statistically significant (P=.101).Conclusion

Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) remains the gold standard to diagnose intracranial arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) but is invasive. Existing magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) is suboptimal for assessing the hemodynamics of AVMs. The objective of this study was to evaluate the clinical utility of a novel noncontrast four-dimensional (4D) dynamic MRA (dMRA) in the evaluation of intracranial AVMs through comparison with DSA and time-of-flight (TOF) MRA. Nineteen patients (12 women, mean age 26.2±10.7 years) with intracranial AVMs were examined with 4D dMRA, TOF and DSA. Spetzler-Martin grading scale was evaluated using each of the above three methods independently by two raters. Diagnostic confidence scores for three components of AVMs (feeding artery, nidus and draining vein) were also rated. Kendall's coefficient of concordance was calculated to evaluate the reliability between two raters within each modality (dMRA, TOF, TOF plus dMRA). The Wilcoxon signed-rank test was applied to compare the diagnostic confidence scores between each pair of the three modalities. dMRA was able to detect 16 out of 19 AVMs, and the ratings of AVM size and location matched those of DSA. The diagnostic confidence scores by dMRA were adequate for nidus (3.5/5), moderate for feeding arteries (2.5/5) and poor for draining veins (1.5/5). The hemodynamic information provided by dMRA improved diagnostic confidence scores by TOF MRA. As a completely noninvasive method, 4D dMRA offers hemodynamic information with a temporal resolution of 50-100 ms for the evaluation of AVMs and can complement existing methods such as DSA and TOF MRA. 相似文献

Development of hyperpolarized technology utilizing dynamic nuclear polarization has enabled the measurement of 13C metabolism in vivo at very high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). In vivo mitochondrial metabolism can, in principle, be monitored with pyruvate, which is catalyzed to acetyl-CoA via pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH). The purpose of this work was to determine whether the compound sodium dichloroacetate (DCA) could aid the study of mitochondrial metabolism with hyperpolarized pyruvate. DCA stimulates PDH by inhibiting its inhibitor, pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase. In this work, hyperpolarized [1-13C]pyruvate and [2-13C]pyruvate were used to probe mitochondrial metabolism in normal rats. Increased conversion to bicarbonate (+ 181±69%, P=.025) was measured when [1-13C]pyruvate was injected after DCA administration, and increased glutamate (+ 74±23%, P=.004), acetoacetate (+ 504±281%, P=.009) and acetylcarnitine (+ 377±157%, P=.003) were detected when [2-13C]pyruvate was used. 相似文献

The interaction and coupling between the electrical, mechanical properties and formation energy for SW defective (10,0) carbon nanotube is studied in density functional theory. The investigated configurations include the axial and circumferential orientations for single defect as well as four distribution types for double ones. The more stable defective configurations, namely, SW-I configurations for single SW defective carbon nanotube and II–II-(2) and I–I ones for double SW defective tubes are related to high symmetry distribution of the defects. Moreover, we found that the σ?–π* hybridization induced by curvature effect causes the semiconductor to metal transition for double axial SW defects case. Young's modulus reduction of SW defective carbon nanotube with respect to defect-free one is less than 8%. The energy bands and Young's moduli of double SW defective tubes are mostly affected by the defect distribution and concentration but insensitive to the circumferential distance between the double defects. 相似文献
